Types Of Acne Soap
TYPES OF ACNE SOAP
Basically, acne starts when the skin pores are clogged. The human body has oil glands that produce oil (sebum) that serves as hair and skin lubricant. The production of sebum creates a problem if there is too much oil production.
This then is the cause for some of the pores to get clogged. Aggravating the problem is the build-up of dead skin cells and extra oil that fails to come out of the clogged pores. The presence of bacteria is another matter that can add to possible acne problems.
Acne problems are made more complicated with various and specific skin types. People who have oily skins are more prone to acne breakouts. Fortunately, there are a wide variety of acne treatments being sold in the market. And one of these is over-the-counter acne soaps that are available for specific skin types.
Aside from being specific on skin types, acne soaps come in different types containing specific ingredients that can reduce and possibly eliminate acne problems. Some of these types are of the following: African black soap for acne; tea tree oil soap; shea butter soap; tar soap; and aloe vera soap. All of these ingredients have claimed to have done a wondrous job in clearing out the acne.
The African Black acne soap is composed mainly of plantain ingredients. Plantain has anti-oxidant vitamins A and E that work against acne. Tea tree oil ingredients in some acne soap have anti-bacterial properties. But the use of any acne soaps containing tea tree oil should be done with caution. Too much application may even make the acne problem much worse. Aloe vera ingredients in some acne soaps serve to inhibit inflammation of the pores.
Some leading and popular brands of acne soaps are available in most stores.
