ACNE SOAP
Acne breakouts are the result of too much build-up of dead skin cells and too much oil. These substances clog the pores of the skin, hence, creating a problem. The presence of bacteria can also make the problem worse.
Acne breakouts can be troublesome and treating them can be a little tedious. In the past, acne treatments rely more on chemicals that may have adverse effects in the long run. But over the years, a new trend has emerged in the production of acne soaps and how they work.
These days, there are many acne soaps that are based on natural and herbal ingredients. A lot of anti-acne soaps are being introduced in the market on a regular basis. It is up to the consumer on finding the best acne soap that will deliver the best results with the least adverse effects.
There are acne soaps that are anti-microbial. These soaps reduce the number of micro-organisms responsible for the breakout of acne. Some anti-microbial acne soaps have ingredients that are natural-based such as aloe vera. While some anti-microbial soaps have benzoyl peroxide and azelaic acid. There are also available acne soaps that work on either hydrating the face or reducing the amount of excess oil that may contribute to acne breakout.
Many acne treatments have different ingredients that may or may not be appropriate for a specific skin type. It is the same thing for acne soaps. But the good thing about acne soaps, is that they are available using the ingredients from Mother Nature. One example of good soap for acne uses minerals from the mud of the Dead Sea.
Another wonder that acne soap does is on the acne scars. There are soaps available that uses natural ingredients that do not give any adverse side effects. Some of the ingredients that work on these scars are aloe vera, cucumber, and sea buckthorn. These ingredients do their work by way of skin regeneration. Sea buckthorn has a substance called salicyns which help soften and smoothen the scar tissues.
